About Joining Allegra

We welcome your inquiries about joining the Allegra Singers. Here’s some general information:

There are no auditions.  All you need is a good ear and want to sing, and be willing to put in some practice time!

We are a non-profit society under BC’s Societies Act, dedicated to supporting local charities and the community through our concert proceeds and other performances.

We have two seasons: a Spring season starting the second Monday each January, and a Winter season starting the second Monday each September.

Fall 2024 Rehearsals:

  • When: Mondays, beginning September 9, from 6:45 to 9:15pm.
  • All interested in becoming members have two rehearsals at the beginning of each season to decide before committing and paying fees.
If you’re interested, please contact our membership director to get the current rehearsal information. In the meantime, please come to a concert! You’ll get to hear what we do :)​
